What does a year in the life of a Live Wedding Painter look like? In 2026, my easel travelled to 22 weddings across Switzerland, Italy and France. I created 13 live oil paintings and hundreds of guest illustrations in breathtaking locations – from Swiss mountains and castles to the Amalfi Coast. Here’s a look behind the scenes of an unforgettable wedding season filled with art, travel, beautiful encounters and countless love stories.

At Anna and Michael's elegant wedding at The Dolder Grand Zurich, I created live watercolor guest illustrations throughout the celebration. To ensure every guest received a portrait, I photographed additional guests and completed the remaining illustrations in my studio after the wedding. I also painted a romantic watercolor artwork of the couple sharing their first kiss after the ceremony, as well as a special portrait of their beloved Australian Shepherd, Enzo.
