Meet Natalia: Kuenzli Wedding Art Is Growing
More events. More portraits. More stories captured on paper.
There is something incredibly exciting about watching a creative idea grow into something bigger than you first imagined.

When I started Kuenzli Wedding Art, my vision was simple: to bring fine art into celebrations in a way that feels personal, elegant and alive. What began with live wedding painting has gradually grown into weddings, private celebrations, luxury events and an increasing number of corporate events across Switzerland and Europe.
And with that growth came a wonderful challenge: more and more guests to draw, more events to attend and more requests arriving for the same dates.
So Kuenzli Wedding Art is growing too.
I am very happy to introduce Natalia, our new Live Event Illustrator, who will be joining me at selected weddings, private celebrations and corporate events.
Meet Natalia
Originally from Poland, Natalia has been surrounded by art for as long as she can remember.
Drawing and painting have always been part of her world, but what makes her such a beautiful addition to Kuenzli Wedding Art is not simply her ability to draw a face.
It is her curiosity about the person behind it.
Natalia loves culture, travelling and exploring the connection between art and people. She is also deeply interested in art therapy and the way creativity can communicate emotion beyond words.
When she illustrates a guest, she doesn't want to create a perfect copy of a photograph. She looks for the little details that make someone recognisable: an expression, a gesture, the way someone smiles, the energy they bring into a room.
Her goal is to capture a little piece of someone's personality on paper.
And that philosophy feels very close to everything Kuenzli Wedding Art stands for.
Natalia speaks Polish and English and is currently learning German, so if you meet us at an event this season, feel free to say Hallo, Hello or Cześć. 🤍

Why Two Live Illustrators?
Live illustration has become one of our most requested experiences for events.
There is something wonderfully social about it.
Guests gather around the illustration table, watch portraits appear on paper, compare their drawings, take photographs and leave the evening carrying a piece of original art created especially for them.
But as events become larger, one question naturally appears:
How can we illustrate more guests without losing the personal, handmade quality of the experience?
The answer is simple.
We work together.
With two live illustrators at an event, we can significantly increase our illustration capacity and complete portraits more efficiently throughout the evening. While one artist is painting, the other can already begin the next guests, allowing the experience to flow naturally even at larger celebrations.
It means shorter waiting times, more portraits and, most importantly, more guests leaving with their own original artwork.
Every illustration is still drawn and painted individually by hand.
We can simply create more of them.
Our First Corporate Event Together: J.P. Morgan Asset Management
One of our first events together was a private client event for J.P. Morgan Asset Management at The Dolder Grand in Zurich.
And it was the perfect beginning.
Natalia and I illustrated guests throughout the evening, creating elegant black-and-white portraits with subtle touches of colour.

Watching two illustration stations come alive at the same time completely changed the rhythm of the experience.
While guests enjoyed dinner and conversation, portraits were continuously being created beside them. Some guests watched us paint, others discovered their finished illustration later in the evening, and the artworks gradually became part of the atmosphere of the event itself.
The response was wonderful and some of the illustrations are now even hanging in the J.P. Morgan office.
For us, it confirmed something important:
Live illustration works beautifully at corporate events because it is more than entertainment. It creates interaction.
People stop.
They watch.
They talk.
They participate.
And at the end of the evening, they take something personal home with them.
A New Season for Corporate Events
This expansion comes at exactly the right moment.
Autumn and winter are becoming an increasingly exciting part of our calendar, with companies looking for more personal and memorable experiences for Christmas parties, client dinners, brand events, employee celebrations and private corporate gatherings.
Instead of another traditional event giveaway, guests can leave with an original portrait created live during the celebration.
It becomes both an experience and a gift.
For companies, illustrations can also be personalised with subtle corporate details such as a company logo, branded fine-art paper or a visual accent inspired by the event.
The result still feels artistic and personal, never promotional.
Two Artists. One Creative Language.
What I love most about growing the team is that Kuenzli Wedding Art can become bigger without becoming less personal.
Natalia and I each bring our own artistic hand to the table, but we share the same philosophy:
A portrait should feel like the person, not simply look like them.
We want guests to recognise themselves not only through their features, but through the small details that give an illustration character.
A smile.
A beautiful dress.
A favourite pair of glasses.
A colourful suit.
The way two people lean towards each other.
Those details are what transform a quick event portrait into a little memory.
And now, we can create many more of those memories together.
What's Next?
This is only the beginning.
Over the coming months, Natalia will increasingly accompany me to events across Basel, Zurich and throughout Switzerland, particularly as we enter the autumn and Christmas corporate event season.
Having two live illustrators also allows us to accommodate larger guest lists and opens the door to events where a single artist simply would not have been able to illustrate enough people during the available time.
For me personally, it is also incredibly special to see Kuenzli Wedding Art becoming a real creative team.
What started with one artist, one easel and an idea is slowly becoming something much bigger.
And I couldn't be happier to have Natalia joining me for this next chapter.
Welcome to Kuenzli Wedding Art, Natalia. 🤍
We cannot wait to see where we will be drawing next.
