Corporate Event Live Illustration in Switzerland: An Evening at The Dolder Grand Zurich

Live illustration is becoming a unique entertainment experience for corporate events in Switzerland: from client dinners and brand events to Christmas parties and company celebrations. Recently, we had the pleasure of creating live guest illustrations for a J.P. Morgan Asset Management event at The Dolder Grand in Zurich.

Last Monday, we packed our illustration materials and headed to one of our favourite event locations in Switzerland: The Dolder Grand in Zurich.

This time, we were there as Live Illustrators for an evening event by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

For the event, we created a custom illustration concept: elegant black-and-white upper-body portraits with a subtle touch of colour.

Throughout the evening, guests and speakers stopped by to have their portraits created. One of the most rewarding parts of live illustration is always the reaction: watching someone discover themselves as an illustration for the first time.

The response throughout the evening was wonderful. Guests shared their portraits with colleagues, posed with them and took their original illustrations home as a personal memory of the event.

A Personal Corporate Event Gift

Unlike traditional event giveaways, a live illustration is created individually for each guest.

It combines entertainment, art and a personalised gift in one experience.

Most portraits were completed during the J.P. Morgan event, while several additional private portraits and group illustrations were finished afterwards in our Basel studio. We then carefully packaged the remaining artworks and sent them directly to J.P. Morgan.

This also allows us to accommodate more guests: if an illustration cannot be completed during the event, it can be professionally finished in the studio and delivered afterwards.

We originally became known for our Live Wedding Illustrations, but recently something exciting has been happening: we are receiving more and more enquiries from companies, event planners and corporate clients.

And we are very excited about this new chapter.

Having two artists allows us to create portraits considerably faster and illustrate more guests throughout an evening, making Live Illustration suitable for larger corporate events and Christmas celebrations as well.

For selected events, additional artists can also be discussed depending on the number of guests and the event concept.

With autumn approaching, we are now opening our calendar for the Autumn and Winter 2026 corporate event season.

We are especially looking forward to Christmas parties, festive dinners, client events and end-of-year celebrations.
